100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop Day TWO
You should have started at http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ if not please start at the beginning
Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's one year "BLOG-iversary" of our first 100 cartridge Blog hop!
A year ago the blog was kicked off with the first design team members and daily postings. It took 2 months to get ready for this hop last year. Now we bring it to you the first full weekend of every month.
Collectively the design team uses over 100 different Cricut Cartridges in their projects during the two days of this hop. Sunday the new members of the design team will be announced and some have even made a project to share with you!! What an exciting weekend!!
As special treat enjoy 10% off of your total purchase with Erica's Craft Room Store.
Use the code JULY to see 10% off of your total purchase (No exclusions)
on July 7 & 8. Also on Sunday there will be an exciting announcement!!!
I've made three fun cards to share with you today. For the first one, I used Crocs Rule! Such an adorable cartridge!
I cut everything at 2 inches and put it on a 4 inch by 5 inch card base. I wasn't fond of the contrasting color I used on the phrase, so I whipped out my Cricut gel pens and used the blue glitter pen to color the letters. Love those pens!!
My second project is from a hidden gem of a cartridge called Speaking of School. Did you know they had a notecards feature?! So cute!
My daughter's teacher has an "S" last name so I made her a set of these note cards. I cut the card and all the layers at 4 inches. For the markings on the jump rope, I used my handy dandy Cricut gel pens again. First I "cut" the jump rope with the gel pen housing. Then, without unloading the mat, I switched my gel pen holder for the blade housing and cut it out again.
For my final project, I was supposed to use Something to Celebrate. Well, I can't find it anywhere in my Craftroom. I know I bought it...
So, I pulled out my new favorite font cartridge, Doodletype. Again, this cart is another hidden gem. Everything on this card is cut from this cartridge. Such a fun cartridge.
The base of each letter is a tag with a hole on both sides. I snipped off the hole on the left side of the H and the right side of the O. I joined the bases with brads and viola! The background paper is from the Enjoy the Seasons Cricut Imagine cartridge!
Well there you have it! I hope you enjoy the rest of the blog hop! These ladies NEVER fail to inspire me with their craftiness!

Jodie, you did a great job with your carts and just went with the flow when you could not find the cart you planned to use! I hope it turns up! I ended up buying DoodleCharms 2 times because I thought I lost it - then months later, it turns up, of course! OH WELL!
ReplyDeleteAs a former teacher, I know the teacher is going to be thankful for those cute notecards!
Thanks!
