September Magazine Challenge

Hello fellow crafters.  Today I have my entry for the September 2011 Circle magazine challenge.  Our challenge was to use something from Cosmo Cricket, three Cricut cuts and a Cuttlebug folder.  I used the AWESOME Hopscotch Imagine cartridge designed by Cosmo Cricket, Happy Birdie Day cut from Straight From the Nest and the birdcage, a card base and a doily cut from my new favorite Cricut cart Sophie!  It's so beautiful and only available to Cricut Circle members.  I also used the Swiss dots folder for the inside of the card, but you can't see it very well in the picture.  I think now I should sanded it a little, but I didn't want the shabby chic look this time.

It is a simple card, but I so love the papers and colors.  I hope you enjoy it too.

  2. This is so sweet. I love that the bird is sitting on top of the cage instead of in it! I hate the idea of a caged bird so this just makes my happy!!

Beautiful edging and sweet sentiment with the play on words!

  4. What a pretty card. Thank you for stopping by and leaving the sweet comment. Now can I ask a dumb question. Your blog is the 2nd one today that I've seen with this "stop that guy" button. What is it if you don't mind me asking?
